The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

OK, so I am in the market for a new set of headphones with a mic for my PC gaming. My previous headset got busted which is why I am contemplating wireless. I tend to lean toward Logitech as their products have always served me well with the exception of one set of headphones I got several years ago which I returned because the whole noise-cancelling feature only canceled my like for it. I ended up getting the Logitech ClearChat Style Headset and it worked perfectly except the cable eventually gave out thanks to my children; which is why I am considering wireless. Anyways, I have 2 potential headsets from Logitech I am considering, both wireless and the only thing I can seem to see different (besides the model #) is that one can go 10 feet farther and that one is an over-the-head model while the other is a behind-the-head model. I have tried both types of headsets and don’t really mind either which is why I find myself having trouble deciding which one to get. These are the 2 headset I am considering:

The features are very similar with some small exceptions and the price is just around $15 different. It’s the whole over-the-head vs behind-the-head thing that has me debating which one to get. What type do you prefer? I know each has it’s own downsides for example both being wireless will make them a bit more heavier than regular wired ones because of the batteries and extra chips in them, the over-the-head version will bug the top part of my head and around my ears like most headsets do and the behind-the-head version will bug behind my ears as that’s where they rest on. What do you think?

On a side note I would like your opinion on wired vs wireless as well. I figure this may also be a factor in your opinion on the above so might as well ask. If you have any other suggestions for wireless headphones of same price range as these feel free to point them out. I may be a Logitech fan but sometimes quality with price can pull me away. Thanks.

I'm actually interested in this too Charles.  I got an ipod nano for Christmas and it comes with the ear buds which I hate and don't stay in anyhow.  So I have to find an alternative as well.  I've never had a mp3 or ipod or even a walkman before so this is a new gadget for me.    I'm not all that fond of over the head either and am thinking behind the ear sounds best.

So I would appreciate the same imput you're looking for..wireless or the other as well.  Good idea.

Behind-the-head is not that bad once you get use to having them over your ears. if you use glasses odds are you are already over that already.

Seriously, no one has an opinion on this? Did I put it under a category that no one can see? Come on. Say something.
