The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

Who would have thought that someone would use a game like World Of Warcraft (WoW) as a tool for exploitation? Who would have thought anyone would be forced to play a game like WoW and somehow the enforcers would financially benefit from it.

According to this Endgadget article that is exactly what a former Chinese prisoners complained about as he explained how the guards would force the prisoners to play WoW for 12 hours a day and then take the loot collected in the games and sell them online for real cash, which the prisoners, obviously, would never get their hands on. As wrong as this may be, I can’t help point out how ingenious this idea is. I don’t think I could have ever come up with such a way to abuse someone. I would never consider a game to be torture, abuse and financially beneficial all at the same time. If there were money to be made, I too would find this a terrible abuse if I could not profit from it as well.

Makes me wonder if these prisoners would ever actually play the game without the fear of the guards if released or would they be terrified of this game in some way afterwards. Man how changes in technology take old concepts to a new level of incredible.
