Duke Nukem Forever, what’s the big deal?

What’s with all the hype? The game looks like it sucks. All this time and this is the best they could come up with? Even the graphics look crappy for a game being developed for this long and with all the graphics that games like MW3 and Battlefield 3 have. Can anyone point out what’s the deal? Does anyone really think it’s worth buying? I surely don’t. To be honest I’m sick of the advertising, all the attention from every tech site I visit, good and bad. I think this game will bomb and only the advertisers will make a profit from it. What say you?
