The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.
I know Halloween this year may not be as eventful as in the past due to economic situations. I still hope people will find elaborate ways to disguised themselves for the fun of it. I look forward to dressing up this year, have not done it in years. I am thinking of dressing as a Jedi, after all I like Star Wars and I love those light up Light Sabers.

What will you or your kids be dressing? I have not asked my kids yet but they never really know till they get to the stores anyways. I hope all this craziness does not take away the fun that Halloween can bring every years. Candy is not that expensive people.

I'll probably just be a biker.  Its easy.  One of the coolest costumes I saw at school last year was R2D2.  One of my students brothers painted up a garbage can.  It was awesome (and the only one I remember from last year).

My kids change their mind everyday. I have to give my little one a deadline or we will be in trouble.

Nice pumpkin picture.

My little one will be Hannah Montana and my son wants to be a Storm Trooper...for now.   We have her costume already, his..not yet..as soon as he's firm on his decision.  Me...I usually just wear a witch's hat...but I am not sure if I'll do that again this year. Last year I did't have to go out at all.

I haven't decided yet.  I think I am going to just paint my face for work.  I did get invited to a Halloween party so I will have to come up with something more fun for that.  I'm thinking of going steam punk.

Biker chick, sounds cool. Tight leather pants, tight small shirts, and a need for speed and danger. Sounds like fun.

I know, I usually end up telling them what to wear, but hopefully this year they make better choices.

Oh lord, not Hanna again. A Storm Trooper sounds neat, I would like to be a Jedi so he can come fight droids with me anytime.

I havent worn a custome in years but would like to break that routine this year, let's see what happens.

Teenagers.

/Psycho theme plays in back ground

My company usually does a Halloween party every year with some kind of contest. Last year they did what they call skits (spelling?) where we get to act out something funny with costumes. We did MTV's Rock of Love looking for a girlfriend for the Lead singer of Kiss, Gene Simmons (my boss) and we had some funny girls trying to win his heart, including one we call crazy Karen. It was great. We are not sure about this year due to the economy but if we do, we got some great ideas about what to do for a skit. I will post pics if it happens.

I'm gonna dress them up like middle class and see if they get a tax break.

The little one is going to be a kitty cat since she loves to pretend to be a kitty.  She has a cute Halloween dress I got her with a kitty on it, and she has some ears.  I'll paint her little nose and some whiskers.

Middle child wants to be Anakin Skywalker.  The costume is $40 so he is brainstorming ideas to "make" his costume with less expensive things (and some things we have around the house, like a lightsaber).

Oldest wants to be a Mad Scientist.  I haven't bought a costume for him in YEARS.  He always likes to be something he can create on his own.  I think that's pretty fun!  He's going to have crazy white hair and a lab coat and scary Halloween make-up.

I tried to convince Adrian that we should dress as Mary and Joseph, but that was a no-go.

I love that picture!  I love Fall and Halloween!  We are still having a Halloween costume party.  I won't devulge what my hubby and I will dress as but my kids will be: Alex (11) Peter Griffin, Ryan (8) a warrior king and Ashley (2) is going to be a little Bee.

I can't wait!

Jill, I can't wait to see pics!  The Peter Griffin idea is hilarious.  I can't wait to see that in execution.  I love the toddler bumblebee costumes, too.  So adorable!

Sounds like your kids are less off-the-rack for Halloween costumes and ideas, too!

We haven't figured out excatly what our kiddos are going to be. . Last year they were monkeys and that was a big hit. Their picture is featured on the Portrait Innovations website and in the national advetisement. That leaves us with some pretty big shoes to fill this year.

I think it'a all going to come down to the right costume.

Tell her I said Hello Kitty.

Tell him to be on Obama's side and his transformation to the Dark Side will be complete.

So he believes in Global Warming?

Maybe he doesn't like the idea of having a child without the work involved in making one.

Peter Griffin? Now that is something I gotta see. Warrior king, hmm, Conan the Barbarian? Mathayus (the Scorion King)? Cool. A Bee? She's going to be the Buzz in the neighborhood. OK, sorry, couldn't resist.

Could ya link if it's still available? That would be something worth seeing. Not sure how to top that either, maybe throwing some space suits on the monkey customes? Space Chimps?
