It seems that for a guy who ran under the illusuion of "change" for this country, Obama seems to be more like Bush than most people care to see, believe, admit or accept. Rmember a while back, when Bush was still President, when the economy was doing OK but heading in a downward spiral at the time? Bush kept saying "the economy is strong, blah, blah, blah", then he eventually had to admit "things are not doing too good" (these are not his exact words, simply an idea of his comments). Not so long ago Obama was doing one of his "American Idol" speeches and he used the word "crisis" almost as many times as South Park cursed in that one episode (this is an exageration I hope you get the point) that holds the Guiness world record.
Today we have this on Foxnews.com:
Obama Takes on Role of Confidence-Builder in Chief
It seems that Obama has decided to look at things from a different point of view and accept that things are not as bad as they seem (or as he has been portraying anyways). Sure lots of people have lost their jobs, things have gotten expensive and many companies have gone belly up. But are we really "At Worlds End" here?
Is Obama admitting that Bush did something right? Unless all you people who said that it's too early to judge Obama, that he has only been in office for a little over a month and that's not enough time accomplish anything, now want to believe that somehow his 50 plus days have somehow turned the economy around with bills that, while approved, have not been applied yet. And what about his believe that his plans will speed up the recovery? Does that not mean that we were already recovering before he became President and that he is simply wanting to give it a boost as he says himself?
I don'rt know about you, but I think Obama has pulled the wool over everyone just as good as any other politician can do it meaning he is just another politician who said what he had to say to get people to vote for him and now that he won, he does not have to stick to his promises anymore. Change you can believe in? And here I thought the sale of the Brooklin Bridge was the best scam ever.
