The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

In these hard times one can not afford to fall into depression, lose their minds and take out our frustrations on others. But it's not easy maintaining that fake smile one carries while around those we know and love. It's a shame one has to rely on the past more often than not to maintain some form of sanity. Happiness seems more like a luxury than a necessity these days.

I'm one who has some unsual habits that help keep me from losing my mind sometimes. Every year, during the summer, I have the tendency of listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies. Of course I don't do this out loud so others can hear me, but it does help to keep me in a good mood. Christmas is suppose to be "the most wonderful time of the year" as the song says and while finanical problems don't always allow us to have the Christmas we would like, none the less it's still a wonderful time of the year.

So what unusual things do you do to keep yourself from getting depressed during tough times? I don't mean spending time with family and friends, I mean those times when you just need something else to distract you. The more unusual, the better.

Hmm, you know I did an article along the same lines, and no one comment. For shame, lol.

Actually, I've been, seeing as I still am unable to find a job, rebuilding my sister D's and my relationship that crumbled a few months back. Honestly, It's been fantastic. I really feel the connection coming back.

As for other things, I've been playing my guitar and teaching myself the piano.

Become a bitter, sarcastic misanthrope...well, moreso than usual.

My way of venting, you could say.

Sometimes it is a shame. Lately I've been posting weird topics and questions just looking to shake things up a bit with things most people would not ask or wonder about. The way i see it, sometimes it's nice to focus on one self and ignore the rest of the world even if only for a few minutes.

You know, I'bve been considering that. I love both pianos and guitars and have always wanted to learn. Maybe it's time for a new hobby that may actaully be useful, unlike my video game playing.

We could all use some way of venting. To be honest i tire of all this politics. No matter what we say or do, the same crap happens all over again  every time. One side gets mad at the other and viceverse (spelling?) over and over. I have not check out the news much these past days, don't even know if Obama has been playing around anymore. Right now, I just want to forget about politics and just enjoy life.

The guitar was pretty hard because I have small hands and short n stubby fingers.   My suggestion is to just get a book and teach yourself.

I may want to get a guitar too. LOL.

I already started with the Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii. At least I know how to hold the guitar.

Remember, the neck goes up, no down...and don't stick your hand in the guitar!

I may want to get a guitar too. LOL.

That too; there I go assume again, lol.
