The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

I don't know about you but I like realism when it comes to, well, reality. It's all fine and dandy to have Sci Fi in movies but unlike President Obama, I don't believe years of problems can simply be resolved by hitting the reset button (I wonder if Obama likes "Back to the Future"?).

I am all for making friends and forming relationships with the rest of the world. I believe in a unified planet where every person can see each others as a single race and not divided by borders, cultures and laws. But Obama's foreign experience has shown he would rather show weakness in the hopes of getting the rest of the world to like us. I'm sorry Mr President, but the reality of life is there are countries who would pull up chairs, pop some popcorn and cheer to watch the fall of the US and your weak attitude towards the International community is the ticket to the show they have been waiting for. Your stimulus bill and energy bill? The catalist that starts the story. Your healthcare bill? The end of it.

I don't believe we should be the world police or the school bully, but we need to be part of the changes not the ones to change for everyone else. Mr President, good luck with that reset button, I'll see you back on Earth.

One thing I noticed about Foxnew.com when they posted this article. They do know how to be baised without making it so obvious. Just look at the link below (the link in the article) and tell me what you see?

I think the article was accurate and fair to Obama, much more than Bush got from other networks.

I'm all for reducing the nuclear arsenal to the minimum needed to be an effective deterrent. MAD seems to have worked as designed to keep any major war between the west and Russia from being waged, and from an escalation stand point probably prevented a few minor ones to boot.

Of course it's hard not to come off hypocritical to nations that might want a nuclear weapon. The world must understand we cannot put the genie back in the bottle. Even if all the nukes were destroyed, more could be made, and would if it was deemed necessary in a future war. Nobody wants to lose. One must realize that the more genies that exist, sooner or later the chances will be greater that someone will make a wish.

I say good luck to Obama with the Russian's, just watch your back (Bush didn't). Believe me I'll be screaming loudly if I feel he puts the US or its allies in a position of weakness with them (or any other nation). Glad to see Obama taking a positive from Nixon's administration.

I agree, I am all for lowering these stockpiles as well. I think it's time our similarities (our humanity) are what guides our search for peace and co-existance with each other. But I am not about to accept the idea of us simply "bowing down" in the hopes everyone will get warm, fuzzy feelings and follow suiting thinking "the Americans are not so bad after all".
