Please don't post a "cream" pie recipe.

That is classic as well as Nitro's comment. HA!

Charles, did you just find that picture on the internet? Or do you know where it is taken?

It was emailed to me by a coworker. Would like to know myself who has this pumpkin. Funniest thing I have seen.

yeahhhh. Ok. I actually never use the innards and seeds, just the flesh, so my mental image isn't ruined. Someone had too much time on their hands, but it is funny. Just for your mental image - have you noticed that cooked rice just looks amazingly like maggots? I can't really enjoy rice since I noticed that and have to make sure that they don't wiggle before I dare to take a bite, even if I cooked it myself. lol

So you didnt want to feel alone on this one you wanted to share this with us?

Actually, I have noticed it before, even worse when you actually see rice and maggots side by side. But that doesn't ruin my appetitte.

Yep - you know what they say about sharing. I've got more if you're interested

It sort of does ruin my appetite. Where it doesn't bother me is in milk rice, you know the sweet pudding. Yumm, if maggots taste that good cooked in milk and served with apple sauce and cinnamon, I would eat them too.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving, it isn't that sort of holiday in Germany. But we have other holidays that are fun, like the 6th of December, St. Nicolaus day. Kids will clean their shoes and boots and put them outside the door of their room on the night of the 5th, and if they were good and cleaned their shoes he'll fill them up with something. It is sort of reminiscent of american christmas stockings now that I think of it. Usually shoes are filled with oranges, tangerines, peanuts, walnuts, and a hollow chocolate St. Nick figure - all things to eat. It used to be fun - you wake up and had a nice surprise in your boots.

Just think...........If the Indians had given the Pilgrams a donkey instead of a turkey, we would all be having a piece of ass this Thanksgiving!

For some of us that is still a possibility.
