The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

Al Gore, narrator of "An Inconvenient Truth" apparently seems to think that the truth really is inconvenient as he spoke at the Copenhagen climate change summit and made some very interesting statements, statements that were later turned against him.

"These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr. [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years."

Fresh figures? Makes you wonder where Gore is buying his "fresh figures" since they seem to be rotten according to Dr. Maslowski himself:

"It's unclear to me how this figure was arrived at," Dr. Maslowski said. "I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this."

So Dr. Maslowski himself is basically saying that Al Gore is fudging his reports for his own benefit. Hmm, isn't that what the emails were talking about? Fudging reports? And I thought Biden was dumb. Ah, but it gets better. Not only did this Dr. put Al Gore on ice here but this is what Gores "people" had to say:

Gore's office later admitted that the 75 percent figure was one used by Dr. Maslowski as a "ballpark figure" several years ago in a conversation with Gore.

Several years ago huh? I guess this is what passes for "Fresh Figures" these days. You know, it's not that I have anything against having cleaner air and water, reducing gas emissions, recycling and saving the planet all together. It's the people who are dumb enough to follow these liars without making sure if what they are saying is true and then they defend them even after it's been proved what liars they are.

If these people truly believe we are doing harm why not be honest, less hypocritical and more of an example as oppose to constantly lying, fudging reports, flying gas guzzling and CO2 emmiting planes and using 10 times more electricity at home than the average person. 3

Shame, such a shame.

No North Pole in 5 years, I guess this will be different the day after tomorrow 5 years from now. That's if the world doesn't end by 2012. Sorry Santa, gonna have to find a new place to live.

Do you think you would have heard about this if the quoted source had not stood up and denounced it?  Not hardly.  The MSM would never question one of their Apostles.

Odds are not really. Eother the guy was honest enough to say something or dumb enough to say something without knowing his comment would come to like and make Al Gore look stupid. At this point I'm glad he did say something.
