The World Thru My Eyes - I speak my mind and man does it like to talk.

By most reasoning these 3 things have nothing in common. But according to the Highland Park High School Administration they do. It seems Assistant Superintendent Suzan Hebson feels the Arizona Immigration law recently signed by the Arizona Governor is excuse enough to deny the school girls basketball team a trip to Arizona to participate in a tournament they earned after winning their first conference title in 26 years and selling cookies for months to raise money. Link

But why you may be asking? What does Arizona's new Immigration law have anything to do with high school girls basketball? It's not about race apparently since none of the girls on the team are illegal immigrants according to the parents. Assistant Superintendent Suzan Hebson claims it "would not be aligned" with the school's "beliefs and values,", a concept the parents of the girls do not understand and are confused about.

"We would want to ensure that all of our students had the opportunity to be included and be safe and be able to enjoy the experience," "We wouldn't necessarily be able to guarantee that." Hebson told the Tribune about the tournament.

So Arizona is unsafe due to this new Immigration law? Oh, but here is the kicker, according to one of the parents, this school allowed trips to China, South America and the Czech Republic. China is safer? South America is safer? Czech Republic safer than Arizona? These countries are "aligned" with the school's "beliefs and values,"?

Have we gone mad? What is wrong with the school administration in this country? High school kids get sent home for wearing American flags (Link), 3rd grader gets 1 week detention for having a jolly rancher (Link), 6 year old suspended for pointing finger like gun (Link); what else do our children need to be put thru before we start taking action and stop punishing students for silly things such as jolly ranchers, finger pointing and American flags on Cinco De Mayo? Wake up people, this is no longer freedom. This is freedom dying child by child.

The key mis-assumption once again is that school administrators have brains, or even use them.  School administrators have proven time and again that they are brain dead, and have no cognitive powers left,  This idiot is just more proof of that supposition.

But it does point out one failing in America.  Parents have the power over education (for the moment) since it is local.  I fault the parents for not booting these brain dead idiots out of their children's schools and getting cognitive people to educate their children.  Parents, if you wonder why Johnny can't read, just look at who is running his education - people like Suzan Hebson- idiots too stupid to do anything else.

Notice how when the word left is used in a sentence it tends to be a negative?

You know, it's always been my understanding that the people who form the Administration part of a company, business or system were people who were once the employees who were under the Administration. This basically allowed them to have an understanding of those they supervise. It seems these school administrations are run by people who may never have been teachers or maybe even parents and run their Administration like a jail rather than a business.

IN general that is correct.  However, when I left a local school division employment, I interviewed with the husband of a school librarian (one of my favorite as she was sharp).  He told me that what happens is teachers burn out (it happens in every occupation).  But unlike other occupations where the burnouts are retired or released, in education, they are promoted to administrators!  I have found his words to be very prophetic.  Most education administrators are burned out teachers.

Most education administrators are burned out teachers.

The way they would be acting one would think they have never dealt with children at all.

Competently?  They never have.
