While I, personally, would never send someone to MSNBC.com, I received an email today where MSNBC.com has a Live Vote currently that asked the following question: " from newsvine.com where you can comment about the Live Vote Link So what do you think? Should it be removed or is this argument stupid as some on the newsvine.com site say? Should the motto "In God We Trust" be removed from U.S. currency?" I figured one visit to this particular artticle of the site would not h...

I've heard this phrase before but never bothered to find out what it meant. Today I heard it again while listening to Bill O'Reily's audio book "A Bold Fresh Piece Of Humanity" (not much of a reader so audio books are coming in handy for these days). Does anyone know what the following phrase means? "Your mother wears combat boots!" Thanks in advance.

I am a big fan of the movie Kung Fu Panda. I love watching it with my kids. My favorite character is Master Oogway the turtle. His pharses sound very enlighted and usually make sense to me. But there is one that I had a hard time trying to figure and now I believe I may understand the meaning but was wondering what you readers think he means by this. This is the scene of the movie: Master Shifu - "Master, master. I have..., it's a... it's very bad news" Master Oogway - "Ah Shifu. There is ...

I have some very unusual habits when it comes to me falling a sleep. It's kinda like a routine; the only way I can fall asleep without doing this routine is that I have gone without sleep for far too long and I have no choice but to fall asleep at that point. I use a combination of things to help me fall asleep every night, missing any of them when going to sleep will not affect me much for the others together can still put me to sleep but they work better when I use them all at the same time. Y...

The maker of the infamous Chia Pet colletion, Joseph Pedott, was surprised to find out that, after having it on sale for about a week, Walgreens decided to remove the Special Edition Chia Obama Chia Pet for fears of offending customers. It seems that Walgreens, who had first agreed to sell the product and already had it on the shalves for a week, felt that a Chia head that grew plants to resemble an afro on Presedent Obama might be offensive to their customers and chose to back out of the produc...

I was wondering if someone could tell he how to say " wheeling and dealing" in Austrian? I was curious when I saw a video of President Obama in a press conference in France and made the following comment: " There's a lot of - I don't know what the term is in Austrian - wheeling and dealing..." Please help translate this to Austrian. I am very curious to know how it's said. And I don't mean German, a common language in Austria, I mean Austrian, which is what President Obama ...

According to CharlesCS Inteligence, The President of Moscow admitted to President Obama during the G20 meetings that US Inteligence of Iran was better than theirs. So after all the BS Moscow gave us about Iran and doing little to use their connection with Iran to stop them from proceeding with their nuclear ambitions, now they claim we had better info and that now they find themselves in a pickle for their lack of intel. So, to use the excuse that many here use that Obama has only been in off...

In the latest of Obama blunders and lies, the Obama's Administration is claiming President Shaq Obama was not bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London. According to one of President Obama's aides: "It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," So Obama is so tall he needed to bow down to reach the hand of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia? OK, for those who have seen the video, you can clearly see President Obama already ...

Be honest with yourself here, you know you can be ignorant to things from time to time but still act as if you know what you're talking about. I know I do it quite often. How often do you go thru life never knowing the true meaning of a word yet using it constantly as if you did? Every once in a while I notice this in myself. Why I don't catch on at first is beyond me, I guess my mind wants to believe it knows and then eventually realizes it's not sure anymore. I'll give you an example of one...

I'm not gonna be criticizing anyones blog here on JU. Everyone has the right to write about anything they want and who am I to criticize their articles? But I can't help but notice that for the past year I have seem some, how can I describe them, unusual articles that I can't help but wonder the purpose in which they were created. When I first started blogging here, the one thing that caught my attention and made me a loyal blogger was the crazy articles people posted here. Everything from po...

So I was checking out an article on PCWorld.com on Fun With Google Suggest where Google.com has a feature that tries to guess what you will search and gives you suggestions to make it easier and faster to find what you are looking for. PCWorld discovered that not only does it provide some good suggestions that might likely be what you are searching for or close, but it also gives other suggestions you may not have considered and some that, as described by the article, can "sometimes be funny, ...

I wonder, could the recent events be some of the 4 or 5 scenarios Biden was talking about? Looks like our 47 year old Presidents brilliance lies in his ability to write stiff letters, to sit there and watch the “international crisis” happen, then ask the G4 leaders “what can we do”? Seeing as UN resolutions are pointless waste of ink on paper. To many trees died pointlessly to write these pointless resolutions that have worked zero for Saddam, Ahmadinejad or Kim Jong Il. ...

A while back I wrote (or read, can't remember right now) an article about what would you do if you won the lottery. The answers can be many for everyone has different desires and with that amount of money, these desires can change very quickly. Instead, I am more curious about your idea of vacation. Having this kind of money all of a sudden and dreaming of places you wish you could go to for vacation, where would you go for a vacation? I thought I ask because our office has a lottery pool ...

I have a co-worker who is a very nice lady who calls often the customer hotline needing help with invoices and stuff. She likes getting me on the phone because I can be very efficient and quick. She's a very nice lady. Well today she sent me an email with some information that I would like to share with you. I think it's a great idea and plan of trying it out myself. OK - I know some of you are having financial difficulties or you know someone who is. I want to tell you about a ministry ...

In an attempt to prove to the American people, and the world, that diplomacy is the way to go, President Obama released a video to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, seeking to create a better relationships between the 2 countrys thru diplomany and to stop the use of threats as a means to acquire a specific goal. But it would seem that his attempt at a warm, diplomatic solution to the dangerous tug of war with Iran proved useless as the Iranian leader ignored President Obama's "kind and ...
