I'm not sure what the problem is. I started hanging around JU about 5 years ago and found it interesting to write articles about things I believed in and was willing to debate with others about. As time went by it got harder to write something and even harder to finish something I had started to write. I recently started using this program called Zoundry Raven to post articles on JU. It's hasn't been perfect, causing problems when I view the article online from the main page, but it's a prett...

Ok, So I've been seeing all the articles about Demigod on JU for a while now and I can' help but wanting to buy the game and try it out myself. Now I am not a big gamer; I have played a few games pasionately on my PC (Star Trek Armada II, Star Trek Bridge Command, Call of Duty Series and SimCity 3000 and 4) but Demigod cathces my attention more and more every time I see an article on JU. Now, I have seen videos online of how the game looks and play but I am not sure if it may be something I w...

Shoot first, ask questions later; that seems to be today's form of dealing with people regardless if they are dangerous or not. That's what I gathered when I read a story today on the news (see Link below) about how an L.A. County Sheriff Deputy shot a boy who was riding his bike playing "cops and robbers" and happen to point his gun at the Sheriff's after being told to drop it. Considering the story does not mention the boy's age which obviously shows this was an underage child, it makes me won...

No, this is not a "I'm gonna take a break from JU for a while " article. I am talking about taking a break from politics. A few years ago, when I was experimenting with downloading from torrents (I know, not the most proud thing I have done) and stuff I came across a torrent site with a very active forum. The idea of expressing my opinions and sharing with others intrigued me. I ended up spending more time on the site for posting reasons than searching for torrents. I soon learned what abusing a...

In these hard times one can not afford to fall into depression, lose their minds and take out our frustrations on others. But it's not easy maintaining that fake smile one carries while around those we know and love. It's a shame one has to rely on the past more often than not to maintain some form of sanity. Happiness seems more like a luxury than a necessity these days. I'm one who has some unsual habits that help keep me from losing my mind sometimes. Every year, during the summer, I have ...

I don't know about you, but this Administration does not know where their Air Force One plane is at and what it's doing, I don't know how anyone can believe they can run this country. This is by far the stupidest thing this Administration has allowed so far. One things for sure. For those who say the American people have forgotten about 9/11 already and what those people did to us, this is proof that those in NYC would care to differ. Nice job Obama [/sarcasm], get mad about this. ...

Personally, I have never heard of the concept of the first 100 days before except when the Democrats won the House and Senate in 2006 and Pelosi promised to accomplish many things within the first 100 days of their control. Of course, not only did they fail to accomplish anything but they ended up with the lowest approval ratings ever seen in the 2 Houses. Not that it mattered because the American people not only ignored these numbers but they added more Democrats to these Houses giving them mor...

So my 10 year old son went on a school trip today to Tampa. He will be visiting the Kennedy Space Center, watching a movie in 3D, eating at a nice buffet restarurant and then going to Busch Gardens, all on a 3 day trip. The original trip was for Washington, but this was cancelled due to there not being enough kids and they did not raise enough money for the trip (the economy had a lot to do with this). So, the school decided to take the kids to a local trip instead. After all, theyw roked really...

I know that if I could have those days back that i would have to sacrifice a lot of the things I like today, but I can't help but wonder how nice it would be, how peaceful it was and less stressful it felt back when computers where only owned by the most richest of people or even further back to when my parnets were my childrens age and TV's were not in every home. I just recently watched the movie Shirley Temple - Curly Top and it's interesting how movies back in those days have so little ba...

What a sad day this is becoming when a problem such as this swine flu, which has people all across the US scared, is being used as a political weapon by the Democrats to continue to deal blows against the GOP. Some Democrats and Liberal bloggers are pointing fingers at Republican lawmakers who stripped out funding in the recent Stimulus Bill for "pandemic flu preparedness". So the country is currently going thru a really serious scare that could turn into panic and chaos due to a flu that has...

Amazing. This is what one gets for being honest these days. Still today, Miss California is paying the price for her honesty when many in Hollywood felt the need to express their opinions online as well following Mr Sensitive Hilton. But, don't think Miss Cali is alone, sitting there taking this beating like a man, well like a woman, you know what I mean. Grandma to the rescue. Good Ol Miss Cali Granny decided to take a shot back at Loud Mouth Hilton by giving him a dose of his own medicine: ...

I got an email that I think it's funny enough to be posted here. The guys reponse to the female interviewer may seem harsh but makes a point, a strong one . General Cosgrove was interviewed on the radio recently. Read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of an ABCradio interview between a female broadcaster and General...

Have you suffered at the hands of the evil Global Warming or Climate Change phenomenon? Did you end up in the hospital due to a record breaking heat wave and maybe have lost your job or pay? Did the unusual winter storms damage any of your property or kept you from doing work that cost you customers and money? Well worry no more. House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry A. Waxman, California Democrat, and Rep. Edward J. Markey, Massachusetts Democrat are here to help. They will make...

I need some technical help. I have been using Zoundry Raven for some time now, a pretty neat program to post articles on blogs. But I noticed I have on and off issues with the program, I believe , in relation to Firefox. I say this only because I have tried looking at the article I post with IE and seems fine. Every other article I post with Zoundry Raven I either don't see the comment box to write a comment on the article or I see a short HTML code but no box. Has anyone had this problem usi...
