OK, so I am in the market for a new set of headphones with a mic for my PC gaming. My previous headset got busted which is why I am contemplating wireless. I tend to lean toward Logitech as their products have always served me well with the exception of one set of headphones I got several years ago which I returned because the whole noise-cancelling feature only canceled my like for it. I ended up getting the Logitech ClearChat Style Headset and it worked perfectly except the cable eventually ga...

Every year, for the past 20 years of my life I have never known what I was gonna get for Christmas. But I did know it was not what I would have truly wanted to get. It’s just the way life has been for me. We all wish “Santa” brought us those things we can’t afford thru out the year and most of us are smart enough to know it’s just not gonna happen. Others make the effort to get it themselves but in the end it wasn’t “Santa” who brought it. But what if one Christmas you were there with every...

This week Congress convenes again for the last time, in what is called a lame duck session, to take care of this years last details before the new Congress takes over in January. One of the more important items to be debated and voted on are the Bush Tax Cuts which are set to expire in 2011. Now, I have 2 issues with this “lame duck session” and neither really have anything to do with whether some, all or none of the Bush Tax Cuts should me extended or made permanent. My first issue is the ...

Better late than never, but earlier than anticipated So I was able to get my hands on a copy of Black Ops a few weeks before I had decided to get it and I was totally stoked about it. I bought the DVD version as oppose to the online because I couldn’t use my gift cards online due to not having enough on a single card to buy the game and Steam would not allow multiple cards to be used at once to pay the game in full, so Walmart was my next option. Although many would rather have the game ...

I love the Call of Duty series. I started with COD2 and from there on have been a avid fan ever since. I even eventually joined a clan and became part of an excellent group of people who also love playing Call of Duty games plus several others. The Call of Duty series was great up until Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare; after this Treyarch kinda thru the Call of Duty into a spin with Call of Duty World at War. The game was not my favorite and most of my friends agreed. It just was not as good...

What a shameful day this day, the day I wanted to make my voice count, to make a difference and as usual the system screwed me. I was denied my right to vote simply because I had recently moved and had not updated my address in the system. 2 polling placed refused to let me vote with the excuse that it would violate a law to allow me to vote on either one. This I an outrage, illegals get to vote, people without licenses get to vote, unregistered people get to vote, me and my wife? We were d...

Today is the day we vote, not because we are Democrats, Republicans or Independents. Today we vote because we want a better future for our country, even if we all see different ways of achieving this goal. Today we vote because we are Americans and it is our duty as citizens of this nation to choose those that will serve our nation best, key word serve. As a proud American, I ask you to please go out and vote and that when you vote you do it wisely and well informed. Do not vote simply becaus...

I’ll make these questions simple so that there is no confusion here. I’ll be creating individual articles for each question to avoid confusing comments. Hypothetically speaking, say the Democrats were to retain control of both Houses after November 2 2010 and the Republicans were more or less in the same powerless position they are today. Let’s also say that 2 years from now, say today, October 21st 2012 The Obama Administration together with the Democrat controlled House and Senate fai...

There’s one thing I have noticed quite often in the many years of hanging around Joeuser.com (any the many Stardock sites that get interconnected thru the forums) and that is that there are certain people who will defend their opinions when they post them in articles, even when proved wrong, yet these same people will not dare venture on other peoples opposing views. An example would be the few “Democrat policy favoring” or “attack against Republicans” articles that show up every once in a while...

I’ve been accused many times of being a very negative person, always looking for the downside of things. I can’t deny this but I feel it’s always good to see the pro’s and the cons of ones actions before one takes them so that one is not surprised afterwards. In this case, I feel my negative sense over the upcoming 2010 elections is justified and I believe it should be plainly obvious to many if not all. As many of you know I tend to lean Conservative in my political opinions and more often...

Hello All, It’s been a while since I’m posted an article on Joeuser. I had gone to venture on my own but recent events have forced me to put my own personal blog on hold as I resolve some personal issues and some personal blog issues as well. Let’s just say my blog is closed for remodeling purposes. In the mean time I would like to hang out around here again. Well, I never really left I was just commenting from time to time and not posting articles. Anyways, one of the reasons I wanted...

Ever since I started working for this company I found myself among the coffee drinkers of the world. With the kind of work done here you just have to have your cup of Joe every day, two in my case. Coffee is the life liquid of the average office employee. It’s not only relaxes you with the great aroma and flavor, it also keeps you up and it’s also a great break creator as every time you grab the cup for a sip you get to stop the monotonous work one does. Great to give the brain a moment to brea...

Ever sit down and try to explain to a person why you believe in God? Some would say that since you can’t see, hear or touch God, how can you believe God exist? While religion is based on faith so in a way you don’t need scientific evidence to prove God exist, sometimes science can be used to prove you can believe in God. Commonalities? But then there are many things science can’t actually prove at this time, yet scientist believe they exist. Take life on other planets for example. Base...

Time and again we see stories of the Apple iPod infamous “signal losing” problem where you simply hold the phone, as it was meant to be held, and all of a sudden the bars on your phone drop. Now, I have heard from many podcast and have read on many review sites how, while the bars go down, so far hardly anyone has had any dropped call issues. Even more it’s been reported that other phones such as the Palm Pre also has similar bar dropping issues if held in a certain way. The problem is that cel...

If you’re a writer and you like giving you opinion on different topics such as politics, tech gadgets, gaming or even talking about personal stuff then you would probably love blogging . Blogging is like being a journalist on your own online newspaper which will be your blog. You get to write about anything you want (within the rules of the website where you chose to host your blog that is), post it on your blog and hopefully get people to read it and comment on it. This is a great way...
