I was once fortunate enough to own a 2nd or 3rd generation iPod Touch (can't remember which one) but lost it due to financial issues a while back. A few months ago I was able to acquire a 1st generation iPod and so far, apart from some missing features that I wish I had, this iPod has served it's purpose very well. Still, I can't help but wonder how, for as long as the iPod has been around and the number of updates done to it, does the iPod interface when playing music suck? My complaint is s...

This past year has been one hell of a political year for the US. Just about every issue faced by Americans has somehow turned into a politic an weapon or shield for this Administration and it's rivals. But it seems that while our political system makes it seem as if the voters are the ones with the most power even though politicians do what they want regardless what voters want, today it seems politicians have a new, more powerful force to deal with. One that has the ability to stop them dead...

OK, so I bought a new Linksys WRT120N wireless router. I bought Linksys because like Dell and Western Digital, it's the most common brand I know for routers and most people trusted them. I admit I don't keep up with the latest upgrades in their devices so I have to also admit I bought this model with ignorance. It seems Linksys latest routers have had major issues with connetion drops and more. Ironic that I checked every other device I bought and failed to check this one and turns out it's a...

Honesty, something that is about as likely to be found on a Politician as love for Fidel Castro is on a Cuban. I'm all for honesty, but even I know when not to be too honest about things. It's ironic that sometimes I have to give Obama props for doing something right. But his problem is that he picks the wrong moments to do it. For the second time Obama decides to take shots at people blowing their money in las Vegas. now, I, to a point, agree with his opinion. I am not much of a gambler and ...

As far as I'm concerned Western Digital will be known to me as Southern Digital as my like for their products has gone down every time I come across one of their new products. First it was their drives. While I commend them for going Green, I want my normal 72000 RPM drives. I have a hard time finding these drives in stores and those that i do find are expensive compared to previous models. I just don't want to deal with slower drives. I will be building a new PC in a few months and I see Sea...

Hell, had I not read the article in its entirety I would have never guess what does Porn and MicroUSB have in common. But it seems that when it comes to the latest in technology, even the Porn Industry has a take in what is usually the geeks domain. So what does Porn and MicroUSB have in common? Well, some of you may have heard how the Porn Industry, some time ago, decided to place their incredible influence in helping decide what would become the standard for movies back in the days, VHS or ...

OK, so I look forward, hopefully, to build a new PC next year. But as I did some research on what I would like to buy as hardware I find myself confused about the processors I am considering. My goal is to build a decent rig good enough to play most of todays games (except maybe Crysis) with decent frames per second that does not cost an arm and a leg. Hopefully under $900. However I've been stumped at the CPU point of the build as I find myself looking at 2 CPUs of different models but...

Why are the JU Liberals so quite all of a sudden? How come they are not posting their opinions on recent events where Democrats are making fools of themselves? Why are they not making excuses, defending and at the least denying all these Demo-gate issues we are seeing on a daily basis? Do you agree or not Obama deserves the B+ he gave himself? Do you agree or not with his non-surge surge for Afghanistan and the timeline he gave for it? Do you think all this Global Warming, Climate Change data...

Gotta love our Commander-in-Chief; they guy is so dilusional he actually believes he has accomplished wonders during his first 11 months as President of the US. Who was it that said Obama has not had enough time to accomplish anything? Oh yea, several Liberals who complained when we pointed out how Obama has not accomplished anything since he became President. Kinda funny how Liberals and Obama are not on the same page here. So Obama tells Oprah he grades himself a B+ because of several thing...

Al Gore, narrator of "An Inconvenient Truth" apparently seems to think that the truth really is inconvenient as he spoke at the Copenhagen climate change summit and made some very interesting statements, statements that were later turned against him. "These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr. [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years." Fresh ...

Hah! Nothing like getting a Nobel Peace Prize while sending 30,000 more troops to continue to fight a war. How ironic of Obama to use his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech to explain why he decided to send more troops to continue to the war in Afghanistan. This is the equivalent of winning a Gold Medal and legitimately keeping it after finding out you cheated. George W. Bush gets insulted for sending more troops and Obama gets an peace award while sending more troops. That award is as valua...

I can still remember all the crap Bush got from Democrats for his appoval ratings being so low. Makes me wonder how much the Democrats are watching Obama's approvals these days. Lets compare: --Barack H. Obama, 47 percent -- George W. Bush, 86 percent -- Bill Clinton, 52 percent -- George H.W. Bush, 71 percent -- Ronald Reagan, 49 percent -- Jimmy Carter, 57 percent -- Gerald Ford, 52 percent -- Richard Nixon, 59 percent -- Lyndon Johnson, 74 percent -- John Kennedy, 77 percent --...

I'll admit I don't do my best when it comes to being clean and saving my planet. But compared to the average person I actually go out of my way to do some of the little things such as put garbage in a garbage can, drive a smaller more gas efficient vehicle, keep tires inflated and make proper car maintenance, turn off lights and fans in empty rooms and even recycle cans when ever I remember. Of course there are many things I could do better but It's just the way things are for now. But after ...

A co-worker sent me a very nice email and I thought it would be a great idea to share with everyone here. " XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.co m you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we kn...

You know, it's amazing how now matter how bad things seem, there is always a glimmer of light that gives hope. I tend to look at todays society and see more of the things I dislike than of those I wish was more common. Kindness can sometimes be hard to find these days. People at the store can be rude, selfish and sometimes just down right stupid. Don't get me started on those on the road or online. How often do you come across someone who's kind enough to help an old lady with her bags (unless y...
